"Loving people to life" in downtown Plano and CityLine
CityLine.church no longer meets together. As of Oct. 27, 2019,
the church voted to merge its fellowship with that of FBC Rowlett.
At CityLine.church, we strive to Love People to Life and are both
a tight-knit community but also one that has room for new friends.
Please contact us at if you have any questions we can answer!
We are Christ-centered.
It is exclusively through our union with Jesus Christ that we may know God, be reconciled to God, and live our lives for God. He must become greater and we must become less.
(John 1:1-18; 3:30)
(2 Corinthians 5:14-15)
We believe in the authority and the power of God's revealed Word. We believe that Jesus Christ was and is the fulfillment of all scripture and that He was the Word that became flesh and dwelled among us. If we are to become more like Christ, then it is necessary for us to discover the joy of eating scripture (Jer. 15:16). It may not sound exciting to tell you that these ancient texts are this important, but we believe that they are incredibly life-giving at all comprehension levels.
(2 Corinthians 1:20)
We love Biblical community.
Life is meant to be lived together in a community where people know you and you know them. We are committed to praying specifically for one another, speaking the truth in love to one another, and encouraging one another in the faith.
We love to worship.
Worship isn't the thing BEFORE the thing... it's incredibly important and while we understand that worship is far more than just music, we truly value singing and creating music for our great God!
(1 Corinthians 14:15-16)
We don't do "cookie-cutter" Christianity.
Your journey and story probably don't look like anyone else's... we think this is a very positive thing and we love all of the many different types of people in God's Kingdom. You have been uniquely created and are an important part of the rest of us!
(1 Corinthians 12:25-28)
NO Invisible People and you will be treated with respect.
We long to be an incredibly diverse group of people represented by many different races, each gender, and all socioeconomic levels.
(1 Corinthians 13:1-3)
Put the word into action. If you think hearing is what matters most, you are going to find you have been deceived.
